Early childhood is a decisive phase of life in context of a child’s learning – across physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. The potential and rate of developmental progress academically and holistically between 2.5 years and 6.5 years is astounding. Equally critical is the skills of the teacher to realize this potential and enhance learning for students in her care.
The primary aim of this course is support the teacher with the necessary knowledge and skills in early language and early intervention for students with or without difficulties. The course is a hands- on practical course.
The course aim is for the teacher to acquire skills and strategies to:
- Teach early literacy and numeracy
- Facilitate holistic development
- Screen and intervene for developmental delays
